Our meeting time is 8:15 seeb marina.
2. Where and how do we meet?
We meet on jetty of seeb marina after entering main gate of security gate there is a check post after crossing check post take a right to jetty keep driving and you will reach jetty where our boats parked in water.
3. How long is the trip to Daymaniyat ?
Trip takes 25/30 min to Daymaniyat.
4. is there a toilet on the boat?
yes, there are toilets in our boats.
5. is there a changing room in the marina?
yes, next to the toilet, there is a changing room as well.
6. Do you have a life jacket and equipment for adults and kids on a boat?
yes, we have 20 plus life jackets on the boat, kids life jackets available as well.
7. How many people can come on a boat?
Our boat shaheen 13 can take up to 25 people on boat and our second boat shaheen can take up to 20 people.
8. is there a shad on boat?
yes our both boats have shad on boats.
9. When can we step on the island ?
Daymaniyat island can be visited all year around, and you can swim or dive around the islands, but you can step on the island or camp on the islands from 1st November till 1st may.
10. What we can see while snorkelling?
While snorkelling, you can see many many turtles morayed , eagle ray black tip ,sharks,butterfly fish,parrot fish, and trigger fish, with so many beautiful coral garden
11. Do we have something to eat and drink ?
Yes, sure, you will have fruits, juices ,club sandwiches ,chips, and sweet water.
12. When is the best time to dive /snorkel?
Diving in oman (muscat) is done all year but from june till October is the best time to watch whalesharks in oman.visibility is best in summer time june till December.
13. Do you offer transportation or pickup form ?
No, we do not offer transportation.we highly recommend using the Otaxi it is cheap and has the best rates.
14. What is the best maximum depth of day ?
There are 22 divie sites and islands in Daymaniyat islands.26 meters are maximum.
15. Can a non diver join our diving trips?
Yes, you can join as snorkellers or sitting on a boat with diver groups.
16. Can i bring my own scuba equipment?
Yes, of course you can bring your own.
17. Do you provide a full scuba unit ?
Yes, we provide a full set of scuba units.
18. What should i bring on the boat ?
Bring suncream ,sunglasses, towel (in winter) dry bag( if you have one )and can swimming clothes and a good mood.
19. Can women wear bikini on a boat?
Yes, once the boat leaves, marina bikini is allowed.
20. What happens in case of bad weather?
Your safety is always our top priority .if bad weather conditions we will inform and we can reschedule the dive depending on your availability.
21. Where is the closed decompression chamber?
The closest chamber is 20 min only in Royal Hospital bowsher muscat.
22. How many days open the water course takes?
Open water dive course will take 2 days of practical is sea and digital learning at home. You have yo register with dive ssi .com and start learning.
23. Is there any dangerous fish in Daymaniyat islands?
There are not any really dangerous fish, but we do have fishes like scorpion fish, lionfishes,stigray,and but if you don't touch them, you don't have any problem.
